This medication is used to improve the symptoms of a certain blood flow problem in the legs/arms (intermittent claudication due to occlusive artery disease). Pentoxifylline can decrease the muscle aching/pain/cramps with exercise, including walking, that occur with intermittent claudication. Pentoxifylline belongs to a class of drugs known as hemorrheologic agents. It works by helping blood flow more easily through narrowed arteries. This increases the amount of oxygen that can be delivered by the blood when the muscles need more (e.g., during exercise).OTHER USES: This section contains uses of this drug that are not listed in the approved professional labeling for the drug but that may be prescribed by your health care professional. Use this drug for a condition that is listed in this section only if it has been so prescribed by your health care professional. This drug may also be used for decreased blood flow to the brain (cerebrovascular insufficiency), to improve blood flow problems in chronic heart failure, and to treat kidney problems from diabetes. How to use Flexital OralTake this medication by mouth with food, usually 3 times daily or as directed by your doctor. Dutasteride (du-TAS-tur-ide) is used to treat men who have symptoms of an enlarged prostate gland. Dutasteride is used for to treat symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH or enlargement of the prostate gland) and to reduce the risk of urinary blockage and the need for prostate surgery. Treating symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) or enlargement of the prostate gland. It also helps to reduce the risk of urinary blockage and the need for prostate surgery.Dutasteride is a 5 alpha-reductase enzyme inhibitor. It works by lowering levels of a hormone called dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which is a major cause of prostate growth. Lowering DHT leads to shrinkage of the enlarged prostate gland. This medicine contains the active ingredient dothiepin (also known as dosulepin) hydrochloride, which belongs to a group of medicines known as tricyclic antidepressants (TCA). When depression occurs, there may be a decreased amount of the chemicals noradrenaline and serotonin released from nerve cells in the brain. When these chemicals are released from nerve cells they act to lighten mood. When they are reabsorbed into the nerve cells, they no longer have an effect on mood. Dothiepin works by preventing this re-absorption of noradrenaline and serotonin back into the nerve cells. Therefore, it helps prolong the mood-lightening effect of any released noradrenaline and serotonin. This helps relieve depression. Dothiepin also blocks receptors in other areas of the body resulting in side-effects such as drowsiness. Therefore, dothiepin may be particularly useful in the treatment of depression where sedation or anxiety relieving therapy is required. The full benefits of treatment with dothiepin may not appear for two to four weeks.used for Depression.

Fusidin is steroidal antibiotic. Fusidin used in the treatment of primary and secondary skin infection caused by susceptible organisms. Sodium fusidate is an antibiotic that is used to treat infections caused by a type of bacteria known as staphylococci. It works by preventing these bacteria from producing proteins essential to the cell. Without these proteins the bacteria cannot grow, replicate and increase in numbers. Sodium fusidate can penetrate tissues well, so it is often used in infections of the bone (osteomyelitis) and heart, caused by staphylococci. It is often used with a second antibiotic that is active against staphylococci, particularly for severe infections and when prolonged therapy is needed, to prevent the emergence of resistant bacteria. Sodium fusidate is only used to treat infections caused by Staphylococcus bacteria, such as the ones listed below. It is available as tablets, suspension and intravenous infusion. What is it used for? Bone and joint infections Cystic fibrosis infected with Staphylococci Infection of the blood or tissues (septicaemia) Inflammation of the lining of the heart cavity and heart valves due to infection (endocarditis) Pneumonia Skin infections Wound infections Fincar treating urinary problems caused by an enlarged prostate gland (benign prostatic hyperplasia, BPH). It is also used to lower the risk of needing surgery to treat BPH. It may be used with another medicine (doxazosin) to lower the risk of worsening BPH. Fincar is a type of steroid reductase inhibitor. It works by reducing the amount of the hormone dihydrotestosterone (DHT) in the body. This makes the prostate gland smaller, which helps to relieve urinary problems. Irbesartan is used alone or in combination with other medications to treat high blood pressure. It is also used to treat kidney disease caused by diabetes in patients with type 2 diabetes (condition in which the body does not use insulin normally and therefore cannot control the amount of sugar in the blood) and high blood pressure.Irbesartan is in a class of medications called angiotensin II receptor antagonists. It works by blocking the action of certain chemicals that tighten the blood vessels, so blood flows more smoothly.Irbesartan comes as a tablet to take by mouth. It is usually taken once a day with or without food. To help you remember to take irbesartan, take it around the same time every day. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Take irbesartan exactly as directed. Linezolid is an antibiotic used to treat certain serious bacterial infections that have not responded to other antibiotics (resistant infections). It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. This antibiotic treats only bacterial infections. It will not work for viral infections (e.g., common cold, flu). Unnecessary use or overuse of any antibiotic can lead to its decreased effectiveness. How to use Linezolide OralTake this medication by mouth with or without food, usually every 12 hours or as directed by your doctor. The dosage is based on your medical condition and response to therapy. In children, the dosage may also be based on weight, and they may be directed to take this medication every 8 hours.Linezolid is related to a group of drugs called MAO inhibitors. Certain foods interact with MAO inhibitors, causing severe headache and increased blood pressure. This could lead to a medical emergency. Therefore, it is important to avoid or limit intake of these foods to reduce your risk of these serious problems. (See Drug Interactions section).Antibiotics work best when the amount of medicine in your body is kept at a constant level. Therefore, take this drug at evenly spaced intervals. To help you remember, take it at the same times each day.Continue to take this medication until the full prescribed amount is finished, even if symptoms disappear after a few days. Stopping the medication too early may allow bacteria to continue to grow, which may result in a relapse of the infection. Doxazosin is used alone or in combination with other drugs to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). It works by relaxing blood vessels so blood can flow more easily. Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems. This medication is also used in men to treat the symptoms of a prostate gland condition called BPH (benign prostatic hyperplasia, also known as enlarged prostate). It does not shrink the prostate, but it works by relaxing the muscles in the bladder neck and prostate. Relaxing these muscles leads to relief of symptoms of BPH such as the feeling of needing to urinate frequently or urgently, weak stream, difficulty in beginning the flow of urine, and the need to urinate during the middle of the night.Doxazosin belongs to a class of medications called alpha blockers. How to use Doxazocin OralTake this medication by mouth with or without food, usually once daily or as directed by your doctor. Rizatriptan is used to treat the symptoms of migraine headaches (severe, throbbing headaches that sometimes are accompanied by nausea and sensitivity to sound and light). Rizatriptan is in a class of medications called selective serotonin receptor agonists. It works by narrowing blood vessels in the brain, stopping pain signals from being sent to the brain, and stopping the release of certain natural substances that cause pain, nausea, and other symptoms of migraine. Rizatriptan does not prevent migraine attacks.Rizatriptan comes as a tablet and an orally disintegrating tablet to take by mouth. It should be taken at the first sign of a migraine headache. If you are at risk for heart disease and you have never taken rizatriptan before, you may need to take the first dose in your doctor's office. Usually only one dose is needed. If pain is not relieved with the first dose, your doctor may prescribe a second dose to be taken 2 hours after the first dose. Do not take more than 30 mg of rizatriptan in any 24-hour period. If you are also taking propranolol (Inderal), you should not take more than 15 mg of rizatriptan in any 24-hour period. Follow the directions on the package or prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Take rizatriptan exactly as directed. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than directed by the package label or prescribed by your doctor. The orally disintegrating tablet should not be removed from the package until just before it is taken. The packet should be opened with dry hands, and the orally disintegrating tablet should be placed on the tongue, where it will dissolve and be swallowed with saliva.
